I talked to the HRE owner on Thursday about wheels, and he said "No problem."

Here's why, they don't even stock rims. Each and every single rim is built to order and is custom made to the exact customer specs. They have zero inventory. Their booth had prolly a million bucks in just inventory and cars.

Awesome, awesome wheels. All the "nice" vehicles there had HRE wheels on em.

Just my observation

Jack

I'd buy NASCAR and give the chevrolets the same size restrictor plates the fords have to use.

Restrictor plates

Save your money! They all use the same size plate.

Tube chassis, carbon fiber body, 4-link, Penske coil overs, 9in quick change, 6-speed sequential, twin turbo, 32 valve, Carillo rods, dry sump, A/P carbon brakes, BBS center lock wheels, fuel cell, data aquisition setup, titanium turbo plumbing and exhaust, Stack digital dash. That should cover the sound system.

Restrictor plates

Plate is the same size for all cars. (7/8) I believe what you are talking about is different rear spoiler heights on Fords and Chevys. Skip

I'm speechless. 11 out of 10 on the cool scale. 5-point harnesses and racing seats for the rear passengers--how friggin cool is that?!

Spoiler height are different. You're right. The 4 holes in the restrictor plates vary, since the Ford powerplant makes more power. It needs more restriction. If you believe all the plates are the same, I've got a bridge I wanna sell ya.

If the bridge is cheap enough, maybe I will buy it to jump off of, when I add up what I have spent on mods for the Lightning. Restrictor plate is the same size for all engines. That is Nascars way of evening out the power differences. Skip
