New Best ==> Joined the club
Everyone,
The SSOTN event was pretty good yesterday.....
I also got a new best: 11.89 @ 113.35...
For those that are curious, the only change from the rest of the year was a new tune for 100 octane. Previously, best was 12.08 on a 93 octane program. All runs were with stock engine & blower, and just a 4# lower and the 1# upper.....
Time was backed with a 11.91 too......
I have many videos to convert, including Sals awesome run, and I will post later today.

It was only a matter of time.

Can not wait to line up next to you again at the track.Insread of low 12 second side by side passes it will be high 11s.
YEAH BABY!!!!!
BTW-HDMLINIUM(Bill) is the bartender at the 11 second club and he makes a heck of a strong 'Long island ice tea', I would have run 11s sooner if I knew that.HEHE

Everyone,
Thanks for the kind words!!!
Its a good...Wait who am I kidding...Its a GREAT feeling when the officials kindly tell you to "Slow it down or your done for the day".
Of course, after the 2nd run, try to hold back the S%^T eating grin on your face as you come to that same track official.... LOL
Anyway, for those that are curious, I have just about every bolt on from converter to 3.73's to long tubes. But I do only have a JDM 4# lower and that 1# interchangable. The most boost I see at any time in my L is 14.5 on the autometer gauge.
Also, I still run with the factory front wheels and tires at street psi.
I contribute some of the gain to the 100 octane, but also some of it to "The Cecil Mod".
Anyway, heres the video: http://www.nvlope.org/_video/briank1189.mpg
Thanks to all who helped and encouraged!!!
(Note: Does this mean 10's are next year???)

Brian K,
Incredible improvement in MPH. The best I have ever seen you run MPH wise was 109.8 or so at Englishtown. I am curious on how you gained 3 MPH on a "race" program. I still run a safe 11.7 - 11.8 A/F program with conservative timing. I have been adding a few gallons of 104 GT unleaded this fall to ward off detonation in the cool air. However, my current program is not tuned for 100 octane. I am new to this scene but can't imagine by leaning out the A/F, adding timing, and such you could gain those numbers with the same amount of boost. I guess I need to have JJ burn a new chip for 100 octane. I am trying to get an 11 with stock wheels, stock converter and NITTOS. I'm also running a 4lb lower with 1.5lb upper. If I can improve my MPH like yours I will easily be in the 11s. That would put my MPH in the 115 range. I'm psyched for a race chip.
