I have to swap my Bedrug into another truck.... any way to get more of the velcro strips??? Maybe use the existing and put double sided tape on it????

 

I just went to Wal-Mart this morning and bought industrial strength Velcro strips. They worked very well. This way I could add a little extra to the tailgate and all.

i have left over short strips, but it won't be enough to do the second truck. can i get the regular bedrug fasteners somehow? if not will the walmart velcro hold as strong as the factory velcro??

 

this is kinda related:

i have to remove my bedrug to align my bed do i just pull it out or is there some "strategy" involved when trying to remove the bedrug. will i also need new velcro pieces (will the ones i have hold when i remove the bedrug?)

I emailed WISE and they sent me a complete kit of the velcro free of charge.

 

When I traded in the old Lightning, I removed the BedRug to re-install in the 01. I just called my dealer and he sent me the installation kit. It was a year and half ago, but I believe I paid $10

 

bedrug dealer or ford dealership? i ordered from rick at rkkustom so i'll give him a call to get some extras...i just want to have them on hand in case some of the strips dont back it thru the tearing out/reinstall..

also, are there any tips as far as taking the bedrug out w/ minimal effort you guys can give me?
