I dyno'd yesterday after getting a reburn by Johnny Lightning, pretty happy with the results: 398 SAE RWHP/512 SAE RWTQ. MAN, I wanted to be in the 400/500 club. SO CLOSE! My only concern is the A/F : from 3800 to 4800 it is 13:1 to 12.9:1, then goes down to 12.5 from there. The graphs don't show any detonation, and I don't hear any, but I am concerned that it is a little TOO lean. What do you think?

 

Way too lean for me. I am comfortable around 11.4-11.8. Probably on the conservative side, but better safe than broken. My initial tip in is right at 14.1 which is normal than it starts to richen as the rpm's come up at 4800 I am about 11.0, by 5600 I am at 11.3.

 

That is way too lean. Get a reburn now.
