I HAVE an air fuel guage i am going with 2 and 1/16th my question is, go dual pillar or triple pod? What should the 3rd pod be? Water temp? How important is that? if anything i'd like trans temp, i just heard install was hard on trans and fuel presure...

any tips on installing air fuel and boost guages?

Go for the three pod.

Fuel pressure is a synch to do, DONT forget the 3280 adapter.

EGT is also a good gauge to get.

Summit, egauges, etc. Both ship very fast.

Tip: also get that plastic wrap for wiring harnesses. I fitted this tube on all of the gauge wires first, then I only had 1 piece to fit through the dash. You can't tell the difference between the factory wiring harness, and my setup. The down side is that I probably spent 20-30 hrs by the time it was all said and done.

I did the 3 pod, with boost, air-fuel, and trans temp. All autometer/lunar. Trans temp was probably the easiest, There is a small bolt above the tranny pan on the drivers said that you take out and the sender screws right in! Like it was made for our trucks. Air-fuel isn't too hard, just splice into the O2 sensor on the drivers side, its kinda a PITA to get up to it. Then the boost was easy, just get a t-fitting and elbow. It wasn't very hard, you just gotta be patient. email me and i can go in-depth with everything if you need me to.
