Whats a good exhaust for my Lightning?

I wanted to go with a Biscani X pipe and Dual Flowmaster Exhaust but i've heard nothing but bad things about Flowmaster exhaust on these Lightnings... Ive never been a fan of magnaflow but ive heard better about them than Flowmaster. Any advise from people who've heard or even tried either? I kinda wanted to keep the price away from full Biscani for $700
so something around $250-$500 is in my price range.
thanks, Shane

MAC about 280.00, aluminized so don't expect the exhaust to outlive the truck, sounds great, chrome tips, good not the best. Only one I heard that sounds better without long tubes is Bassani

JDM about 525.00 not sure exactly but it is a fair price for a SS exhaust, couple varieties-dual inlet/outlet single, dual mufflers-one tame sounding the other is a screamer, nice system

Bassani - no explanation needed. This is the best one but you will pay, difference in 10k and 24k this is the 24k exhaust. Will be my next one.

I have a MAC. It's fine and I understand the drawbacks of non stainless exhaust and I'll deal with it. Couldn't afford the more expensive one at the time and really HATED the stock sound.

Then there's also spintech, Mufflex/Magnaflow, Slomaster, etc.....

There is one to fit every budget. LOL Best sounding??? we all have opinions.

The OEM exhaust got me into the 12s. Having said that, I installed JDM's c/b system with the two-in-two-out 14568 stainless muffler, mandrel-bent pipes, and their BIG, 4 1/2" stainless tips. It was on when I ran my sig. times. Everything fit fine.

Cool

Shane,

Yes that is a year old dual in/ dual out Magnaflow. The back glass is open. These mufflers get louder with age. They start out sounding a lot tamer but after 2 or 3 months they really wake up.

Magnaflow from 0 - 110 mph
