NX vs. NOS Dry, looking for opinions

Has anyone tried both the NX wet and the NOS Dry Systems? If so, what kind of results have you seen? In your opinion, which system is better and why?

I am considering putting a nitrous kit on my 02 Lightning. I currently have 2 new NOS Dry Kits, Part# 5115. I have used these kits for year with very good luck. I am NOT dead set on using one of these Dry kits on the Lightning, I want to know what people think. If the wet aprrears to be that much better, I will sale one of these kits and put the other one on my mustang.

I am looking to go 11's and the nitrous kit seems like the easieast way to get there.

I would appreciate opinions from owners of both systems.

Thanks in advance,

The wet systems seem to be the best/safest on the L. Check with Sal at PSP he is the juice guru. There are also many posts regarding this topic that come up during a search.

Its a no brainer. The wet shot is by far a better setup for the Gen 2 Lightning. The dry shot HP ratings are different than the NX wet, so its hard to compare the dyno numbers. But the wet is a far safer setup on the L.

Good ol juice questions.I can only comment on the dry setup, saying that so far its been fine by me.i'm runnin a 75 shot with a best time of 12.4 at 111, 2.0 60ft on f1s.getting my slicks soon and hopefully my first 11sec time slip.I got a dualchip from jonny lightning with one side for nos.would like to go with the new nos nozzle setup which is wet and supposedly safer but its just a money issue right now.good luck with your choice but i wouldnt fear the dry if you have to.You can go to my gallery if your interested in seeing the install ,and feel free to contact me on any questions.

I have run both on my L and the NX wet kit is the way to go! Plus the NX system seemed to be a better quality kit. Better fittings, thicker wire, heavier relay and bigger seloniods!

Ya know, I talked to the Owner of NX on wednesday at SEMA and asked him the same question, I'll give you his direct quote ....

"Dry is junk."

I too have ran the 05115 NOS dry and now have the NX wet system.......The 50shot wet feels like a 100 dry shot. Besides, would you rather premix the nitrous and fuel and spray it or depend on vacuum to increase fuel pressure to prevent leaning out? Wet is the ticket
