Where you unpug that wire for the boost bypass, its that little solenoid mounted on the side of the blower. what does that solenoid control? I ask this only because the wire on the back came undone and it wont go back in, is this bad? should i buy a new wire?

What color is the wire? Are you sure it's not a hard black hose that became disconnected?
Can you take a picture?

this is the best pic i could find...its the black solenoid right there, what does it do? is having the wire unplugged bad?(the wire on the solenoid) not the boost bypass wire.
