So I pull up to the window and the gentlemen with a slight speech impediment says to me "Pimpin in a Lightning huh?" I was like ummm sure. Then he informs me that his friend has an 02 harley with the Lightning motor that produces over 400hp stock. I was like wow! *cough* Then he goes on to tell me that his friend had put a set of pullies and a K&N filter in it and it gave him another 140 HP at the rear wheels. By now I am like just give me my mexican pizza and bean burrito before I start laughing. So I get my food and he mentions his friends name. I realize that I know the guy and have raced him on several occasions. This was when I was stock as well. So that MUST mean that I have a "cherry" lightning with over 540HP STOCK right???

 

uhhhh.... no....

the Harley's DO have that much horsepower stock...

and the SuperCrew platform gives them better traction! :P

I was talking to the bagger boy last week in the grocery store and he said an R/T with an "INTAKE" and chip could beat a L. I just looked at him and said "yeah right" and split. The cute cashier was laughing at the guy when I walked out. lmao

 

I like it when I pull up to a fast food drive-thru and the kid working the cash register says, 'hey your that kid with the lightning... my friend knows you' ... im just like 'and your point being?' I get that all the time, its annoying!

LMAO Frank S my friend's R/T has an "intake" (cone filter), chip, and exhaust and he only ran 14.4 not even close to a stock L as we all know.

 

How's this for annoying...I constantly have guys pull up beside me staring in disbelief as they ask me "Your boyfriend lets you drive HIS truck?!" Grrrrrrrrrrrrr
