Western Chassis a-arms. Nice

I just had my western chassis control arms installed. Looks like about 1 1/2 inch drop. The ride is great, just like stock. I just couldn't bring myself to go with the drop springs and loose the soft ride.
They are also built like a tank. I would recomend them highly.
Anybody need the stock control arms, I'm looking to get $100 plus shipping.

I got them from sport truck direct. 888-800=0449.
They aren't cheap at $369 plus shipping but they are by far the best quality as far as my research.

Hey, did Western Chassis ever fix the arms so the sway bar end links would bolt up properly? Or are people still having to modify em to make em work??? OR- I remember some just bolting everything together whether it was right or not.........

You were right, thanks again

Lightstruck
They have them with two different end link mounts. One points straight up and one points forward at what looks like about a 50 degree angle. Mine, which is a 99 needed the ones that point straight up.

Could you post the actual drop measurements. I don't have any data on Lightnings with just the Western Chassis arms. See this thread for the dimensions needed.

my truck is already lowered 1 in front and 2 in rear with the FRPP spring/shackle kit. i want to go another 1 in front and 2 in rear. thinking about the control arms and hangers for back. do the control arms come with new endlinks? are they lighter than stock? i only see 1 part listed on the website, how u know which one has the messed up endlink mounting position or did they get rid of that one?

I got 17 1/2 inches with the method you suggested.

They do come with endlinks and everything else you need.

The control arms are actually heavier than the stock ones, they are so heavy duty.

The ones that worked for mine are the ones with the endlink mount on the control arm pointing straight up.
They have ones that point forward also.
They can tell you at sport truck direct how to tell which ones you need, just ask them, they are very helpful. But I am sure you will need the ones that point straight up.

If you believe this...I have the return reciepts to show you...LOL. But they are really nice peices. Just make sure you get the right ones ordered the first time. And Sport Truck Direct did take the Control Arms back without any questions....very good service.
