Where are you installing the Probe? Are you going into the header tube right at the head? If so, which tube? That is where I have always installed them on my mustangs. I have one on my street mustang.

What kind of temps are you seeing? What do you consider safe?
I know temps can vary according to where the probes are installed, thats why I asked where to install them.

I have 2 or 3 EGTs sitting on the shelf, I bought them for another shop and they decided they didnt want them . These are not the guage style like the autometer. These are like the Percy, actually the meter is the same as the Percy, not sure about the Probe that Percy uses. The meter is made by Omega.

1" off the head in #5 top of the exhaust header. 1475 degrees at WOT in the 1/4 mile and 1420 in the 1/8 mile no nitrous.
