Even though I have never met Rob in person, and have only known him and his legendary truck through these forums for like a month and a half, I can honestly say that i was reduced to tears when I read through this thread. what a relief when i scrolled down far enough to see that he is ok!!! having banged up a few expensive vehicles in my short 18 years, I can say that it will still hurt in your heart about the truck for a little while Rob, but what matters is that you're still here, and you will get over it once you start on your NEW LIGHTNING! We're all behind you brother.

ah damn . I only met ya once rob, but i gotta say you have one of the nicest L's i'd ever seen. It looked cooler than i had ever imaged from the pics posted. Its such a shame to hear that the black and orange beauty is gone after all your hard work. I've got a knot in my stomach the second i saw the thread title But glad to hear your okay. Sorry to hear about the wreck, i wish ya the best of luck getting everything sorted out, and hope ya get better soon. Good luck buddy!

Rob, I'm glad you are OK. Sorry to hear about your truck. I know its a small consulation, but it can be replaced. You can't, and it's important that you came through it relatively unscathed.

I almost lost mine yeaterday, to a moron driver who pulled out in front of me without looking. Mine would have been totalled, but Bob Bondurant saved my a$$. I was able to slide the truck around the back of him without hitting anything. I was just plain lucky.
