Traction bars and Slicks

I am planning to make a few runs with Hoosier slicks but i don't have traction bars install. Is it safe to race like this or i should get traction bars first!! Thanx JACK. New member of 12 sec. club 12.8@108mph with 1.92 60' and .524 R/T

Chances are you have already hammered the rear U Joint mount on the driveshaft, so all slicks are going to do is finish the job. I see a new driveshaft in your future.

Be safe, traction bars and drive-shaft loop. You don't want to pole-vault down the track when the drive-shaft breaks.
