You may think you are saving money but that exhuast isnt stainless and in the end will cost you more money to have to get a new exhuast to replace that one when it falls apart. Also i remeber reading that people who had those systems the tips were rusting already. One thing's for sure only the best stuff goes on my truck and i would rather spend a little extra to get the better parts. Thats just me though .

Well, that's great, for people who HAVE the extra money to spend. If you're looking for a NOW solution, and only have about $300, the Mac is a good deal. True, I have seen rust in my tips, as everyone else has. But, I did the BBQ paint trick, and now it looks great. I'm sure the exhaust will only last a couple of years, but it'll be fine until I have the cash to upgrade.

Seriously, what you said is like telling someone "Why spend $20k on that base F-150, when you can spend only $12k more, and get a Lightning?"

Makes sense to us, but not everyone has the money.

The welds look really sloppy in that pic on e-bay. Doesnt seem like its good quality to me. Granted I dont have anything special but I think you could do better for your money.

Thats exactly what i was thinking to. Thos welds look like *****. I doubt it will even stay together for a few years . I would rather stay with stock then put that on if i didnt have the money.

Here's some pics of my custom exhaust. All stainless steel. Headers and tips are ceramic coated.

I have been running the MAC catback for a few months now and it sounds GREAT!! There is nothing wrong with this system, the chrome tips are great..... It's a great exhaust system for the price..Paint the inside of the tips and there you go

the two flowmasters were only 350 or so for the 2 of them. I dont have chrome tips but the sound from the FMs is awsome. It makes that nice low rpm rumble and doesnt drone at all at high speeds. But hey, whatever you wanna do man, its your dough.
