Gota love the cold weather!!

Friday night was a night to **** anyone off. I came out the hole sideways and let off before the end due to a vibration. I ran a 12.39 @ 109 with a crappy 60 foot and letting off right after the 1/8.

To make a long story short, I had a traction bar loose, slicks that were out of balance and to much low end power, so it didnt mix well.

BUT.....

Today After a long saturday's worth of work I ran a 11.98 @ 114 with a 1.69 on the stock convertor. I also made three 12.0 runs, I was dialed 12.0 and had a crappy light, thats when she dipped back into the 11's making me breakout....

Nice to hit 11's with only a few of my old mods.... I guess its that "NEW PSP TUNE"

Thanks Sal....

Joe, I know you will be mid to low 11's next time you get out to the track. All those new mods should put the red beast really deep in the 11's!!

Rich, that is freaking awesome that you were able to run times like those with the few mods that you have right now!!!!

You definetely give us newbies faith in that these trucks will really roll with only a reasonable investment.

Glad to see that you were able to work out all the bugs that you were experiencing on Friday. I may need to consult with you regarding suspension work, for I think I may need a little. Maybe I keep going to the track when traction isn't up to par, for I get serious spin when I go to WOT regardless of how I baby off the line.

I have decided to not run the ram air when temp. is in the 30's, for I was getting serious detonation on the way home down the interstate (as well as towards the top end of my second run Friday night).

Yep static balance. Guessing if your slicks are not screwed then if they slipped, then it might get out of balance.

Scott,

I have about a $30 mod that will really help your traciton. Its what I did when I had a similar setup to yours. I could get 1.8x's on the F1's, if you want I will do it to yours soon. As far as the pinging, if you have not done plugs you need to for sure if you have pinged. Get those stockers out. I can help with anything you need. You saw first hand how bad she acted friday night. You have the MPH on yours gota plant it. Shot me a email and we can talk about a few CHEAP mods to help you. Also we could get Sal to upgrade your chip into a 2 or 4 program one. Then you can have a hot/cold weather setup!!
