Cool The NORWALK experience... pics....

What a wonderful day to run at Norwalk. I am glad to have met all of you - great bunch of people.
We couldn't have asked for any better weather... all of us had strong days, and brought home some impressive time slips.
I finally slipped into the 12's with a 12.98@105.25.
60' consistantly at 1.85... gotta love the VHT at Norwalk!!!

This guy was a trooper....
He drove 45 min. in the cold weather, and went down due to a throttle body / TPS problem.

nice trunk!

Nice to see everyone again and meeting the others. I had some awesome 60 ft. , but it was just falling off the big end. I was impressed with Todd's L, running 12.38@110 w/F1's, 6lb.,electric pump & fan, ,longtubes, and chip on 93 octane.

It was nice to meet everyone for the first time. Had a blast up there, we should make this a ritual for this time of year. Great looking pics also. The VHT was great to me also, able to run 12.55@107.9. FINALLY IN THE 12s!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks guys.
We definitely need to do this more often... I have never had more fun at the track. Lightnings packed in the staging lanes was quite a sight to see.
Gosh, I love this sport/hobby.

Nice pic's 93cobra. I tried to run my Cobra replica, but NHRA said it needed a cage. That must be an IHRA track.

Congratulations to 93 Cobra on the 12's, way to go Phil..
And White01, that was one of the best side by side Lightning
runs I have been involved in. What a way for both of us to get
a new best....your 12.55 to my 12.48!!!! Side by side all the way
brother. Only .1454 seconds difference....
It was a pleasure meeting everyone. Lets do it again...
A special congratulations to Shawn and Polly who spent their
1st Wedding Anniversary with us...What a trooper Shawn, you
better keep her...
More later

Marc
