Hibernating the L...question

Gonna be putting mine up this winter, its the first winter I have had it. What do you guys do about letting these sit all winter? Any special servicing I should do? Do you guys start them everyday? Any help would be great!

Everyone has a different theory...Its like asking "Is there a break in period for a new car?" or "What makes a girl HOT?". Your gonna get as many different answers as there are people. Heres mine...if you are just storing it for the winter...like six months...just get the oil changed....fill up the fuel tank and add a can of dry gas, then disconnect the battery and thats it. Some will say put it on blocks so the tires don't get flat spots, pull the pistons so the springs aren't compressed & so on..but , if you are storing it for such a short time it really is not a big deal. Stored my cobra every winter in this fashion....fired right up every spring...no problems at all. Good luck. Also you might want to cover it of course...even if its garaged.

over inflate your tires to keep them from getting a flat spot.

The only other thing I would add is a bottle of Stabil in the fuel. Your fuel will go "rancid" after about 30 day, and this stuff really works to preserve the fuel. I have used it twice this year while on travel with work, didn't have any problems when I returned.
