As you know, I will be there as well supporting that "silver Lightnings are the coolest."

I will see you and everyone else there, and we can enjoy fast times and freezing our behinds off. It looks to be in the 30's before the end of the night down there.

 

Be sure to run a good mix of 100 oct gas due to the temps. I am going to run alittle richer just for safety. They should have the Sunoco 100 Oct Unleaded at the track for about $4.00 a gallon.

 

Lets all try to pit together, I have some money runs lined up.


Lets try to get up towards the stagin lanes, near the stands and food area ok??

Thanks for the suggestion on the octane, for I completely forgot about that. I will make sure to get that straight.

Did you decide to run on the 22's or not? If you beat those whom you are racing for cash, it would really rub it in if you did it with the big wheels.

Thanks for the post concerning the 100 octane. I hope to make the T&T Nov 8th at VMP. I am new to racing my truck and any info will help. With a good street program/93 octane what kind of mix do you recommend? quarter tank 100? I have most mod's except header's/cat's and torque converter (I have the #4 lower pulley). I've never tried side 2 of my chip (hot, humid wx program) but will discuss with JDM and see if the 100 octane would be ok with it in cool wx (or it may be warmer next week).

I just posted on the NVLOPE forum looking for anyone wanting to go tonight. I am trying to go up there after work, so hopefully I can meet up with you all and also support the "silver lightning are the coolest"

 

I usually run right around 1/4 tank of 93 to 5 gallons of 100 Octane. In the colder weather I run alittle richer just to be safe. I have a few programs to play with. When its less than 50 Deg and I am running a high timed program, I willl almost run 100 octane straight.
