Will the W3's or W3v2's or W6's or the W6v2's fit in the thunderfoms and which one sounds better.

 

Well, mostly W6's will sound a little bit better and generally be louder than the w3's. I'd have to say that the v2's on the W6's would sound the same as the regular W6's only, they can handle more power, and in turn be a bit louder. To answer your question... W3's sound great, W6's sound a little better, and the V2's on each will just handle more power.

 

there is no way I would use the thunderform case with these subs,,, you will get much better sound by having an exclosure custom built, or building one yourself.

My buddy works at a stereo shop and I bought sum w3's for a thunderform box. But I ended up selling the subs. He said they would work fine in that box.. I dont think the other subs willl have enough air space...

 

where is the cheapest place to buy the subs? What size amp is good for the w3's or w3v2's?

 

forget JL subs and buy some audiobahn subs. I switched and I love them.
