I dont mean to be rude, or mean but this guy sounds like he is 10 years old. It would take a fool to start any kind of car and rev it wide open. Geez, what is this world coming to. Kinda funny tho!

yea revving a cold engine with no oil circulation is a dam good way to **** it up. I never even hit the gas till about 3 mins after the trucks running, 0 degrees or 100 degrees.

Do you do 300lbs bench press during warm-up??

Sorry if this is a bad example....

The proper way to warm up any engine is to immediately rev it up, and keep the rpms in the yellow zone on the tach...this helps spin the oil pump fast, and gets the oil circulating. Don't over rev it though, that's not good for it.

Blue,

Tell him to pump it 6 times, hold his foot to the floor, crank it up. When it starts, let the RPM's go to exactly 5000 RPM, then immediatly through it in reverse.

Hopefully he'll blow the Motor and Tranny together, and we won't have another http://albinoblacksheep.com/flash/sierranaked.jpg/
to deal with.

YOU GUYS ARE CRACKIN ME THE h@LL UP OVER HERE!!

This is the funniest thread I've read in a while!!!!!!
