It wasn't that hard at all. I thought it was easier than a pulley swap......Just get the right tools. Took me 3 hours I think.

A couple locking extensions, and a 7mm swivel socket is all you need.

Smaller hands and arms help well, downside is I need a ladder to reach them

ANYTHING IS EASY FOR HE WHO DOES NOT HAVE TO DO IT.....

My only complaint with the L, is the plugs. From one engineer to another, whoever designed this one should be reevaluated.
I have suffered less hand damage in a fist fight......

i have just bought a new lightning and have read to check the torque on the spark plugs but it sounds like a royal pain in the --- i am thinking i will have the dealer do it since the truck only has 300 miles on it. is there anything else i should have them look at ??

The problem I found was getting to the #5,7,8 plugs, more specifically getting the bolt that holds in the coil pack to those plugs. Needless to say because of those 3 plugs it took me and a buddy just about an entire Saturday to do. Though when I do it again, I know where the problems are, so I will probably get it done much faster.
