The separator has worked for me since day one. I still have yet to see any oil in the output tube to the blower.

I doesn't disable the PCV System, which will get you in trouble with the Smog ****'s here in CA. They still have unconstatutional roadside checks, complete with IM240 (dyno) testing here.

Ahh, but it does hurt performance. Oil mist suspended in the intake air leans you out, makes you more prone to detonation.

umm sorry, but this just isnt true. There isnt enough oil in there to create MISTING to lean you out. Some of you are grasping at straws coming up with ways to claim its hurting performance.

I still say the best solution is the one Ford SHOULD have done from day one. And that is to put a baffle (or plate sheild) in the valve cover like any other vehicle has. The bean counters at corporate weren't about to manufacture a taller cover for this to work. That is the right way to solve the problem. Haven't tried it yet but I'm going over to R.E.M. to check out the valve train clearance on one of their disassembled engines.

Can they give you a complete graph printout of your dyno #'s LOL. Seems like it's the least that they could do. Hope they don't stop you while your on your way to work. That would suk. I'd get ripped at work everytime I come in late. I can hear it now. Oh sure, dynoing the truck again hugh. LOL
