Will the *stock* Engine handle the new KB?

I would like to address the issue of the new KB on a *stock* engine. i have heard many people saying that we will need a (built) engine before we bolt the KB on.or else the rods will break. The *stock* internals should be just fine. if we keep the boost levels at a respectable #. i would say no more than 13-15#.. you see we can achieve much more power with lower boost levels with the KB than we could with the *stock* eaton. which will be easier on the *stock* internals..for those who choose to turn the power up. beyond the 13-15# of boost. I would reccomend a Quality built Short block.Such as our JLP Short block! which should handle upwards of 900 h.p! I believe were making close to 750-800 h.p. now. and we have run the same engine (hard) all race season with No issues..We hope to be upwards of 900 h.p! by next race season. I hope this helps shed a little light on the issue of *stock* internals with the KB unit.. JL

I'm not concerned about stock internals, but I want to see some info about what is included in the blower kit, and pics of the kit and pics of the blower installed and see some hp/tq gain numbers and maybe even some outlet temp comparisons to a stock eaton would be nice. and how much is it going to cost??

later,
chris

P.S. I know MM&FF already did alot of testing, but frankly, they have ZERO credability in my book. I still have the issue somewhere around here back when the 99 cobra's came out and supposedly there's went 11.99 or something rediculous like that with just some slicks and a gear. give me a break.

Im running a 4# pulley on the stock blower, If I upgrade to the KB blower with the pulley I have now, how much boost will the new blower be making? and will it be safe for my engine?.

Larry.
