Aftermarket Stereo systems?
has anyone found a cd changer that takes up the whole space of where the stock stereo is without having to buy an ugly kit for it. or any suggestions on how i can fill up the whole space without a kit. any help would be appriceated. and any pictures of what some of you guys have.
Actually they aren't a din and a half either. its about 1 3/4. Either way you can mount a double din radio in there with some effort, and trimming. Personally I would just do a din sized radio, and fab up some plexi to trim it out.

This is a Kenwood Excelon X859 with the head closed. I've considered getting a piece of colored plex or smoked plexi to go across the top pocket and have a Kenwood decal on it with some backlights so that at night it will spell out Kenwood.
http://www.selectproducts.com sells ABS plastic trim pieces that you can stick to the adapter. They come in all sorts of wood and metal designs. Your local dealer might carry their products.
