A New Fastest***11.59***congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!
Fastest customer owned Lightning with a stock blower and NO nitrous that is!!!
My great friend and Team JLP member Charlie S. just called me from the track and his 99 Lightning with a stock blower and NO nitrous just blew away my previous best of 11.69 with an incredible 11.59!! He has always been there to help me and has always been more of a help to me than I could ever put in to words!! Again, CONGRATULATIONS and if anyone has earned it, it is you CHARLIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here are the details:
1/4 = 11.59 @ 116.23
1/8 = 7.38 @ 93.31
60’ = 1.622

I am a big fan of the no nitrous thing so that is just the greastest in my book! Stock bottem end or built>??? Pump gas or race gas. We would also the mods legend. HeHe. Nice run man. You get my two thumbs up! -Mat-

We were all there together i ran my 03 cobra for the 1st time and went 11.90@118 on the stock tires and full weight with only 200 miles on the ticker! This cobra is BBBBBad! We also had my wifes HarleyD. out full weight with a 150# deck lid and spare tire,bed extender,bed mat ect. to my surprize it went 13.000@104.3 on the street tires! on pump gas! A big congrats also to John L. he went 11.6 @ 121 with his cobra and this was the 1st time he ran his too!JT was there also with his 03 cobra and went a 11.4! Man What a night! If i only could have brought the 01 Lightning! I'm real confident we would have made a 10.50 pass! we'll be trying next week to lay down that 10.50! again Congrats to everybody!.....JL
