I got a silver one too. I'm goona have to raise the MAF a tad as the Fast Air(bracket) is a little too short/low. FYI(those that don't have one already), you really have to grind the ridge off of the eng, end of the MAF.

Thanks for the pics.

Dan

I got me a silver one too. I wanted black, but all they had was one silver one, so I grabbed it.

Yes you have to grind down the maf lip or it will not fit. I just used my dremel worked fine. It takes some playing with but you can get it to fit with the fast air. Thats what mine is hooked up to .

$180

It is not 'glossy smooth' on the inside, it has a texture to it, but I think the main point is that it has an 'unobstructed air path' vs. the ribs and such in the stock one.

I was getting frustrated with the maf not fitting, untill I went on REM's board and asked, and they said you have to cut the lip off. After dremeling the retaining lip off it slid in no prob.

Another tip - use a small bit of oil off the dipstick on the seals to get it to slide in easier...

Don - I was also considering a black one, but I'm really glad I went w/silver - it looks GREAT.
