L '01 White For Sale, Seattle Area?

I looked at a L on my dealers lot yesterday. He is not a SVT dealer. He says that he bought it from Ford Credit as a repo from the Seattle area. Only has 8750miles. Hard miles that is. It has half used Bridgestones (wrong size), two scuffed rims, silver painted exhaust tips (bad), and a spray can painted hitch which is also bad. Body is pretty good with a couple of fixable blemishes. The odd part is that the brake pedal rubber is showing kind of heavy use for the mileage. Since I'm on my fifth Ford, which has 36000 miles, I sort of have an idea of pedal wear.
Also there is no drivers mat. All this for $27500. What do you guys think?
BTW I have bought four vehicles from this guy, all new though.

I got my 2001 White L with 7500 miles for 25,900 back in july from a Lincoln dealer in KY. It was spotless and didnt have one scratch/ding/nick anything anywhere on or in the truck. That sounds a little too high for the truck, especially if its in that condition.

I would keep looking, who knows how bad that thing was treated by the previous owner. I am sure you can find something else at the price but in better condition.

I think that sucks! I looked at a 99 and a 00. The 99 only had 5000 miles looked like it just drove off the assembly line and they were asking $26000. The 2000 had about 10000 miles and looked pretty nice and that one was $24000.

Thanks alot guys. The thing with this Owner/dealer at my Ford dealership is that the relationship is not purely business. We have mutual friends. So instead of dealing I'll just let it go. When I buy new from him it's different because the price is a given (wholesale). Again thanks alot for the replys and for letting me lurk.

Me thinks the dealer is stuck with that pile of crap, probably an upsidedown trade-in and he's waiting, hoping to unload the burden on some unsuspecting sucker. Don't let it be you.
