Depends how wide your rim is...you didn't mention that in your post.

23x ??

As far as killing your performance you ahve no idea how bad it's going to be....I switched to the 20" replicas and it is a very noticeable difference in acceleration...good luck.

I would got with the 30 series...the 35 series would be approximately 3" larger than stock and you speedo would be slow by 10.4%.

Stick with the 30 series, it only changes the stock diameter by 1.5 " and the speedo is only slow by 6.2% or at 60 mph on your speedo you are actually going 63.7

BTW-How much do those monsters weigh ? Unsprung weight is not your friend

I would have to agree about the 30 series tire instead of the one that you ordered. Check out the link below, and you will see about what it would look like on your truck. Notice the pics towards the bottom that have less dressing on the tires, and you will get a good idea at how tall the tire really is.

305/35/23's

Audio - thanks bro!

Actually i like the 35 after seeing that picture.. my problem is that i drive this daily, and my other car is a slammed BMW vert with 235/35/19.. so i know how bad NJ roads can be on them, just think the extra "beef" over the 30's will help that??
Dunno..

Heres a few pics of her..

No offense taken! I just like to be different, as with all my toys will show,... can't stand having anything stock,..... and i guess im just a show off, lol!

To each his own right? Who knows, i may HATE these wheels once on the truck, and the 18's will be right there to put back on..
We'll see how it goes..

Most of us race with slicks. The 20's actually burn just as easy as the 18's on my truck, no noticable difference here....I can't get traction on the street to race anyway, so what's the difference?

Krix330cic(NJ), I should have asked the forum as well (I listened to my local tire dealer), hopefully my loss is your gain, the dealer will not switch out the tires!

I mounted 305/45/22 on Foose Spank 5’s, the tire is almost the same wall height as stock, but is IMO to tall with larger wheels (there are pictures in my gallery). I’m going to change them out to 295/30/22 and then do a 3/4 drop.

The 45’s did rub on the skirt molding (from the door to the fender well), it hit about an 1/8 inch on the tip of the rap around piece, nothing a straight line and a dremel couldn’t have taken care of if I were to keep the tires. The diameter size on my 45’s were 32.8, on your 35’s @ 23” would be 31.4 and you should clear, at 30 you would be at 30.2…

Something to consider if you haven’t, the stance of my L was raised two inches and I want it back down. I could have dropped the rear with shackles but I doubt I could have dropped the front end with out big problems…

Good luck, its not an inexpensive mod but certainly makes your ride stand out, please post a picture or two when your finished…

Unhappy

Well sadly, the deal fell thru..

Took them all day to locate a set of 305/35/23's, and the outcome resulted in a $1400 price increase over what the original 305/45/23 & wheels deal was.. (how they can justify $1400 just for different rubber is beyond me! ) Well 45's would just look terriable on the L, so screw it..

Guess its back to thee 'ol drawing board..
Thanks everyone for the help though!
