nitrous not nos

i hate it when those racing crew kids that dont know ***** from shinola about racing or cars come up to me and ask me dumb noob questions like "do you punch the nos when you race?"

little do they know it is known to the real racing world as nitrous. NOS is a brand name standing for - Nitrous Oxide System.
NOS is not a thing, its a brand.
i hate it when they use the terms interchangably.

just venting. what are yalls thoughts?

It looks like your town must have been showing The Fast and the Furious at the Dollar Cinema.

Hmmmm

Is that like a Xerox vs. a copy?????
Industry leaders become icons, thus the names are most often synonomys with one another....just my .02 cents.
Think I will go have a beer....no, no I mean a Bud!

Kleenex or Facial Tissue
q-tip or cotton swab
Kotex, Band-Aid and Jello are all examples of brads that have taken over ..... Can you say that you NEVER refer to objects by brands ?

Nevermind the fact that they are totally clueless when it comes to knowing what Nitrous Oxide is and how it increases power in an internal combustion engine.

I always say "juice" or "the bottle". "Laughing Gas" is also acceptable.
