A big UPS to RobG

I just want to thank RobG for all the help this weekend.
I know there has been some stuff going on the boards lately about him but this has nothing to do with that.
This weekend was the first time I EVER met Rob and we only E-mailed one time(I had a question). So there was no basis for all the help he gave me.
He let me use his front race tires all weekend (that he just bought and HAS NOT EVEN USED HIMSELF) and spent hours helping me out,Taking pictures of runs ,giving me tips and generally being a nice guy.
He could have raced(he only took one pass all weekend 12.15 DAMN!!! another all show all go truck) and he could have just stood by his truck.Enough people stop by to look at his truck that he could have just stayed there all day answering questions.
Then when me,captainoblivios and Rob went out for beers later, Rob paid the bill and would not take money from either of us.
This guy is a first class act and go to show ya.DO NOT JUDGE PEOPLE SOLEY FROM WHAT YOU READ ON THE BOARDS.Go to events and meet some of the F150online people.I have found they are all very nice.
O.K. I will get off my soap box now.

VINNIE

Vinnie,

I could use a friend like that around here
Sounds like a true Lightning Brother, thats what I love about this Community. Someones always trying to help a Brother Out, and Sister too, "of course", Christy, and SVT Girl.

It's really nice to hear people say -good- things about each other.
I almost had to go check if I was reading the right board...

I agree. I met Rob for the first time this weekend also & I must say he is a really nice guy. He could have put his truck in the show, but instead he hung out with & talked with alot of us that were either racing or showing. Later, Sam

I've known he was a cool guy for a while since I met him last year... People have bad days, things get warped on boards sometimes, but all the truth always prevails.

I haven't met RobG yet but I know he's a good guy.. I've known that for a while now, right Rob? Some guys go beyond the call of duty even if it's just an offer. I love ya Rob, you're a good guy!

Man and I thought I was the only one that was treated to dinner at Hooters. He always helps others. Just the kind of guy he is.
