Well I have had the rear leaf springs on and off so many times now getting the ride problems solved with the 3/4 lowering kit, and it just occurred to me I may have the leaf springs on backwards. Are those C type clamps that hold together all the leafs on the front side of the rear axle or on the back side of the rear axle? Now please, just a simple answer, and absolutly no giggling!!
I don't think you could put them on backwards because the front hanger bolt that goes through the leaf will not go through the rear bushing. It's too big...

Cabraco, what kind of rear suspension problems are you having? I also have the 3/4 drop on my L and the rear suspension bangs on speed bumps and light road bumps. I can't pinpoint the problem. Dealer replaced a leaf spring and it still does it?
Thanks, Jeff

Part of the problem on the rear is hitting the pumpkin. Directly above the rear of the pumpkin is a crossbrace on the bottom of the bed, it runs side to side across the vehicle, This crossrail lines up exactly over the very back end of the pumpkin, and whacks it when you hit a bump. This rail is about 3 inches tall, and you can trim about 2 and 1/2 inches in the area over the pumpkin and still leave some for support. This solved about 80% of the problem, I also added QA1's all the way around. Problem solved.
Also still looking to see if the clamps are front or rear of the axle. I had the leafs separated tryiny to fix the bump problem with a stronger lower leaf, and had the clamps off. I have them on the backside of the axle and want to know if thats correct.
