I have the SB, I love it!! It has a low deep rumble to it, kind of what a Borla sounds in a LT1 camaro. I heard a Bassani last night and didn't like it as much. It had a raspy higher note type of sound

Go and hear the Bassani before you make your choice. It sounds great.... just no added HP.

I have heard the Bassani and I thought like you about the raspy sound. The silver bullet is 3 thumbs up..

Yes Mark, it spent a whole week at Lithia. I met a really good tech over there named Gus. They replaced the tube connecting the EGR to the manifolds which had disentegrated, not the problem. Then they replaced the whole EGR, still not the proble. Insulated heat shield for tranny, still didn't solve it. Then he and I went for a drive with those chasis ears and pin pointed the noise from around under the dash. I haven't sspoken to him since I picked up the truck, but it seems like it was a rattle in the steering rack or accelerator cable. The noise seems to be gone for the moment. lets plan on meeting up soon!

What's with all of the exhaust threads this past week?

Lightning Rodd, there is no best, so I say flip a coin between the SB, Bassani, and the Magnaflow kit.

Availability might help you make your decision. Many places have the Bassani in stock.
