On my XP machine it just fails - On win2k it tried to dload correct codec then wont even play the sound
I even found a 9mb file FULL of Codecs - closed my eyes and installed it and it still didnt work....

Brian just sent me the secret. He is using MPEG decoder found here http://www.moonlight.co.il/download/EMpgDec20beta.zip
These are step by step instructions he sent.. Worked for me...

Try this:
1) Go here: http://www.moonlight.co.il/download/EMpgDec20beta.zip to
download the MPEG2 decoder software
2) You will need winzip to unzip all files. Unzip to C:\mpeg2 directory on
your harddisk
3) Go into the mpeg2 directory and click register.bat
Now, the video playback codecs are installed and all is good.....
try playing the mpg again ...

It didn't work for me either when clicking on the links. But the files do get saved in your Temporary Internet Files folder. I was able to make it work by searching my Temporary Internet Files folder for the file and then opening it up from my Windows Media Player.

For those that are having trouble viewing, I'm not sure where the answer is for everyone. I can tell you that they are MPEG2, 320x200, 24 fps, 1250 data rate, mono 64-bit sound. All videos are converted using ULEAD Video studio. The fix that I sent doug worked for those that I spoke with. Some did have to do a "Save As" instead of opening from destination....

The stang is running well!! Very well!! The top of this thread is the video from friday at E-Town...12.66 @ 107. Street tires, street weight, 93 octane. Stock exhaust and intake too...
We are shooting for 12.4-ish with exhaust, intake and re-tune. All on stock tires.
Jim and I were grinning at eachother...Thinking "What if we add a converter and slicks??" That may be the winter project.
As it ran, its only .2 and 2MPH slower than the L in the 1/8th...
All in All, its an awesome street machine!! Very drivable and even passes the wife test.
Many thanks to Jim for helping me out with my quirky desires.
Next time I'm in town, drop by for a test drive.

Concerning the non-op videos
Everyone,
OK...I'm still not sure why everyone cant view the videos, but I think I know how to make things better for everyone.
I plan on converting to MPEG-1 and re-posting at the same links..
The MPEG-2 is the default output in ULead Software so I went with it. I think the MPEG-1 will help alot of people out.
I will start another thread when I have them uploaded.

Vinny, maybe you need to get a player for the file type, ask somone who knows something about file extensions. Do you have a quicktime player?

Well all i have to say about that 10.5 Run..... Holey ***** ! that must have been a hell of a ride ! The JDM 03 cobra sounds great ! And vinnie's video is sweet it looks like you passed him half way down the track........ Great videos! I want more lol !
