Do a search for 'calipers' under 'Lightnings' - thread titles only. I got 25 good hits (too many to post here.

1st time i did mine, i cleaned them with alchol, and got some high temp engine spray paint. didn't want to get spray paint anywhere near my truck, so i sprayed it in the cap and painted it on. lasted perfectly fine, but i wanted to change the color to a glossier silver, so i used silver rustoleum in the little can and repainted them. been done for about 7K miles and holding up perfectly fine

Engine paint changes color under intense heat ... Use
the better "caliper" paint ...

I used plasti kote brake caliper paint (not sure on the spelling) and it worked okay. I cleaned them with brake cleaner and a wire brush. There were spots that did not take the paint very well but, they still look good. I put 4 coats on them and I will redo them in the spring. They seem to be holding up pretty good, the spots are probably me just being too ****.
