WOW, all your plugs broke in half?
Did the insulators just vaporize?

I now anytime I boost I make sure I have Toulene in my tank. The stuff may be 7.50 a gal but perhaps I won't get a rod out the side of my block. I looked at my plug this way: atleast it wasn't a rod! Doug your right we will be seeing alot more of these during cooler weather!

Glad to see that it was just a plug... but not glad to see it was a TR6. That's what im running right now with my mod's. Im gonna go pull a couple of them and check them. Which cylinder's would be the worst... or should I just pull them all and check them?

I was checking post last night and heard the TR7s are tougher then the Densos. I don't remember what the two letters on the end was but, thats what I'm checking into. Mine was #7 the back drivers side.

Ok the weird thing is, as you see the Passenger side is fine. Whats with the green tips is beyond me, but there all there and burning ok.

Now the Drivers side is a differant story. # 1 melted, #2 ok, #3 melted, and #4 melted ??? WTF
Why would one side be lean and the other not ???

I honestly don't WOT it on the street for more than maybe a 5 second blast once in a while. Something made the Drivers side go lean. I took all my Oil Mod's off, the Breather, The Check Valve, and the Seperator for now until I figure it out.

I'm putting in Denso IT22's ??? There one step cooler than TR-6's and much better for idle. I pray all is well when I'm done. I'm still waiting for the USPS guy, Sun delivery by 3:00 "I HOPE"

I'm thinking about putting my stock upper back on and just keep the 4LB Lower, if not for anything else, it'll give me piece of mind.
I'll try it this way and see what happens a while.

As for the fluid, Sal from PSP gave a possibility ?? The track was wet and there were a few puddles, MAYBE when I went sideways it threw up water from the chassis or ground on to the hot motor ??? I HOPE SO ???????

I think as soon as possible I will get mine on the Dyno to see what I'm looking at. I decided to not use Denso's anymore for the reason of me thinking their fine for many miles, and I need to change them more often. I will be checking mine quite often if nothing peace of mind. Once you get plug thing down its not that bad to change them, just bad if you don't. Good luck man!

I've heard the same, but I also heard the idle is so so, and the around town driving is not the best. That would be no good for me, I work only a few miles from home and do a lot of short trip driving.
Here's what sold me on Denso

I believe sal told me once that the green had something to do with the detonation. Do a search and you will probably come across it.

THree plugs with broken insulators means you were getting BIG time detonation..... Bad enough to fracture the ceramic...

Perhaps Sal or another expert can comment as to why one side was pinging an dthe other side not ....

Seems like the only thing that could make it lean on one side would be either the chip or the fuel line/injectors on that side?? Thats just my guess...........I'd like to hear a tuners thoughts on this also
