Talking Road racer shows up the 1/4mi crew. ;)

Hey guys,

Had a blast a E-Town today, I'm going to try to make it back for tomorrow.

I came in as "Runner Up" in the Ford Truck Class today, lost by my snoozing RT on the finals (.687), otherwise I would've had'm. :)

Thanks for letting a road-racer feel good by letting him win in his second ever bracket race. ;) I ran pretty consistant ~14.1-14.2s. Not too bad for a mostly stock engine at full weight, though I think I win the trophy for slowest Lightning... was also wierd being the only significantly lowered Lightning in the staging lanes, RobG, gotta join me next time. ;)

The trophy:

BTW- You really showed you can go more then left and right.

I ran 1 on the rear's and 12 in the front to try to get it to squat some... I don't have a whole load of room for travel though.

On my street Pirelli's @41psi I was running pretty consistant 2.1's all evening.

Bob - I ran on friday with my shocks set at 7 front, 1 rear. Tire pressure was down to about 25lbs, and let me tell you it was not pretty. I did to back to back runs, and both runs the truck went sideways on the 1-2 shift. I then upped the rears to 4 and no problems.

Whats really weird is the whole summer I was running 1/4's on the same settings with no problems, then all of sudden this.

But Dan's truck is much less modded and heavier ... and has Roush rear leafs where as I have Hotchkis rears.

Nice picture of those wide hips there Vin, but do I detect some bling bling bars underneath?

Great weekend guys, too bad I could only attend Friday's event.
