The boost bypass mod keeps the computer from dumping boost inbetween shifts. Theres 2 ways of doing it. First way is to just disconnect the Boost Dump Solenoid. This is the easiest and cheapest way (free), but does leave a soft code which is clearable by disconnecting the battery. I have had this disconnected since day 1 with 0 problems. The second way is to buy a boost bypass kit from a tuner of your choice. It consist's of a couple pieces, which are easy to install. They are usually around 25$ I believe. For about 5$ you can go to your local hardware store and buy the pieces yourself. Do a search about Boost Bypass and im sure you'll find a ton of thread's which state the parts needed. Both ways have the same exact end result. Good luck.
