Need answer on a Vac Line "PLEASE"

I should start by telling you I developed a dead spot in my throttle this week out of no where ?? I attempted to make a few runs today at the track and it was a nightmare. Something big time happen and some ******* in a Tundra thinks he beat a Lightning, how F up is that
I launched and then it just died and started missing big time, The boost dropped off and it started studdering and then smoke started pouring out from under the hood. I coasted the rest of the track pulled into the pits opened the hood to find smoke everywhere. The wierd part is nothing dripping, but smoke burning off everywhere. I thought is was antifreeze but it appears to be oil, I see it all over the bellhousing.

As some of you know I have major oil going into my Supercharger EVEN WITH THE SEPERATOR. and I believe maybe now it got to all the plugs. On the way home it started running great again, I even stopped, launched, spun, WOT and went all the way up to 5500k with no problems. Then afterwards it got bad again.

What I need to know is where the line goes that tees off the PCV Valve. Tomorrow all that crap is coming out.
I WILL NOT LIVE WITH SUCKING OIL INTO THE SUPERCHARGER on a brand new L with 6k on it. I will also finally get rid of my crappy TR-6's that have been nothing but trouble for me. I will also change the oil, and gas filter.

Line comes out of PCV, then it t's off before it goes into the back of the Supercharger (thats where the oil gets in)
WHERE DOES THAT OTHER LINE THAT T's off go to ??? Tranny ??
Can I plug it. I bought a breather for the Drivers side and I already have one for the drivers side. I will do away with the PCV, plug the back of the Supercharger BUT I need to know where that other line goes and can I plug it ????

Please help if you know that answer.
Thanks
Rob

It goes back into the rear of the intake. Not sure why .
I run the tr-6 with stock boost and it is great with your mods I would run a colder plug than tr6's. IMHO

The passenger side pvc line goes into both the upper intake plenum and the lower intake manifold. I'm not 100% sure why it goes to the bottom of the lower intake, but I believe it works with vacuum to pull the oil drawn into the intake back out as it settles in the bottom of the lower intake. I am going to run breathers on both the passenger and driver side and get rid of all of the pcv system. So what if a little oil leaks on to the valve covers or if there if a little pollution or if I must change the oil a little more often because of the contaminents. Do a search and you will see some recent threads on this subject.

In all honesty it sounds like you may be having a major problem. I would remove all mods and take it to the dealer. Oil just doesn't leak out as you describe to fill the engine compartment. Make sure you take to mod friendly dealer or take care of pcm somehow. Good Luck.

here is where your hose goes. It's the one to the right of center with the green stripe around it that goes to the bottom rear of the intake.

hope this helps.

later,
chris

P.S. maybe your hose has become dislodged from the fitting at the rear of the intake and now you are dumping boost (and oil) from this fitting??? just a thought.

Thank You everyone,
Awesome picture Super Ford, Thank You So Much.
And Rich Thank You for giving me some more possibility's.
I'm wondering if that lower hose spit that oil and dumped the boost. I found oil on the "LOWER" bellhousing under the car and thats where the smoke was coming from. Pass Side Low and way back RIGHT WHERE THAT HOSE IS, Hmmmmmmmmm
CAN I EVEN GET TO THAT FROM UP TOP ????

THERE WAS NO OIL OR FLUID TO BE FOUND ANYWHERE UP TOP EVEN WITH ALL THE SMOKE. Heads are dry, valve covers dry, coils, etc....

I was pushing major boost today with the cold temps @15-17 lbs. Maybe that makes sense. A loose or bad connection there would also explain my dead spot and wierd off and on power band wouldn't it ???

Lots to look at tomorrow, thanks again

There is no possible way to get your arm down there to check that hose ??? WTF was ford thinking. I must have scrapped off 5 layers of skin trying. I removed anything I could in the way and I was able to get down far enough to come to the conclusion it APPEARS to be on all the way. I eliminated all my oil Mod's and put it back to stock, the miss is still there. Taken a closer look underneath it appears as though there isn't "all that much oil" on the lower bellhousing, but there is a little. Which still leaves the magic question, WHERE DID ALL THAT SMOKE COME FROM ????

Now I'm gonna change the Gas filter, and later today or tomorrow the Plugs.
