2002 L vs. 2002 E46 ///M3

I posted a few days ago asking how I could positively stomp an E46.

Well, I decided that I am going completely stock against his completely stock.

I need a baseline before I do mods.

Now, there are 2 possibilites:

1.) He wins
2.) I win

If he wins, that was expected. A $80000 (CAD) BMW ///M sportscar vs. a 40000 (CAD) pickmeup. All that extra $$$ and prestige, he better win!

If I win, its like David and Goliath. I wasn't supposed to win against the big bad M3, but I did.

Anyways, in short, I am confident in my and the truck's abilities to pull a 13.5xx to a 13.7xx because of this cool cool weather we have going on here.

The race is in a few short hours, so wish me luck. If anyone in the Southern Ontario area wants to come and watch, we'll be at Toronto Motorsports Park (Cayuga), and look for a red 02 L along with a few E46 M3's, and some E30 BMW's.

Take care guys!

Anxiously waiting to hear on this one… I’ve killed an M3 (previous model though modified) at highway speeds (65mph and up)… the M Coupe and an M5, although I think he could have hurt me if he was a little more prepared for the competition (he really didn’t think a truck could perform this well).

Whats his trans, 6spd or SMG? I have driven many of the new M3's and they are no joke. He should have more top end for sure, so you'll have to pull out of the hole on him. It should run the 1/4 in about what a stock SS runs.
