Ordered Cali Cover...
I ordered my california car cover yesterday. I got the stormweave and when I wanted to have it embroided just to say LIGHTNING OR SVT 150 and they said you cannot use anything that ford uses
That sucks..

Their car covers fit great. They seem to have some arrangements with GM that they don't have with Ford.
A local shop can do the embroidery that you want. Be careful though, you don't want some synthetic thread scratching you paint.

I am getting ready to order one now. It's too tight with my truck and everything else in the garage. Which version is the best for MD/DE winters....a few snow storms, cold, and damp?

Recieved my California storm weave cover about 3 weeks ago.
I had asked them to embrody "QUIK-TRK" which is my liscense
plate number on the black duffle bag I ordered with it in silver.
Well when the cover came it was not on the bag. Once I opened
the cover and installed it, there on the front of the cover in 4"
black letters was the "QUIK-TRK". I called them and let them know that I had wanted it on the bag, and to my amazement they quickly shipped me another bag with the "QUIK-TRK" on it in nice
bold silver 4" letters. They also told me to keep the original bag as a gift for their mistake.
The cover fits perfectly. I will give them my business in the future.
My L is in the garage when not in use, but I still got the strorm weave which is a little heavier.
Great company, with a great product.

THATS NOT ON THE TRUCK
Daniel, SVT LIGHTNING is not on the truck so I guess it is not copyrighted. They said anything that was on the truck couldnt be used. Oh well it will be a suprise when I uncover it...lol

You can't beat the customer service of this company. Here is my testimonial.....a few months back, I was a proud owner of a two week old NOAH cover. My uhm, friend, yeah that's it my good friend took the initiative to wash it after observing the cover had earned its almost three hundred dollar price tag by thwarting bird droppings and what not from defacing the Ls black mirror finish. Now this is really a great person that enjoys the fine things in life and normally takes every precaution when dealling with such things. However, when I asked where the cover was, my friend replied "that it was in the large dryer up the street at the laundry mat". At that very moment small electrical pulses called synapse began to flicker in my otherwise dark cranium....a faint voice kept saying "air dry only". As the seconds ticked off the old time piece the voice got louder and louder. I finally recognized the voice as mine. I swore I read somewhere not to dry the NOAH cover in dryers. I turned to my friend and calmly asked how long has the cover been drying and he responded 20 to 30 mins. I assessed the situation and quickly realized that this would probably be a recovery mission versus a rescue mission. But, as a firm believer of miracals, I borded the L and flew down the street to the laundry mat. As I was driving...my mind was involuntarily concocting various senarios on how the cover could survive the brutal heat of a commercial dryer. As I approached, I began to get that sinking feeling in my chest and stomach. As soon as I stepped out of the L everything around me slowed and it seemed if someone placed my heart next to my ears. The laundry mat was filled with patrons doing routine laundry chores, completely oblivious to my fragile disposition. As I entered the door and turned the corner I saw a few spectators gawking at my dryer. As I closed the distance they began to part like the red sea. I peered through the dryer hole and to my dismay the cover had shrunk into a ball of goop.
I told this story to the customer service folk at Cal Car Cover and they gave me credit for the NOAH when I told them I wanted to upgrade to the machine washable/dryable superweave cover. You can't beat that! Where else could I have found such great service that would have worked with me to correct my stupidity, wait I meant to say my friends stupidity. All I can say is the superweave is top notch protection, light, lean, and embroidered with the word Lightning. Two thumbs ups for CAL CAR COVER! Ok Ok, I'll confess it was me.

When I ordered my cover the guy on the phone started asking about mods. Thinking that he was concerned with the fit I told him that there was no aftermarket wings or mirrors on the truck. Although he was concerned about the fit he was more interested if I had did any performance mods to the truck. I find it a lot easier to deal with people like that, who have the same general interests as me. I hang up the phone feeling fully confident that my order would be handled properly, and that I was getting a quality product. They're good folks.

) and no dust or water gets through. The fit is great also.
