Electric fans... who has the best kit?

Seems like the next step for me to go to an electric fan/Cobra waterpump setup. So who has the best/cleanest install kit?

And yes, I have already used the button... I just want opinions from people who have installed these things. I am mechanically gifted, but electronically challenged...

LFP also was having a special on their kit heres an email i got from Mark@ LFP you might wanna contact him.
"LFP's NEW plug & play electric fan is tops. Comes complete with a factory look along with the easiest plug and play wiring harness in the business. Our kit has water proof relays (brand X does not), Ours has the AC setup at no extra charge. LFP also includes a toggle switch with enough wire to take it into the cab through firewall for easier cool downs. LFP eliminates the need to pop the hood. We are introducing our new Electric fan WITH Cobra High Flow water pump for $399.00. We have already started selling them (FFW in Ennis ). We will continue this price until our first run is gone. Then the price will go to $409.00-fan/$89.00-pump. Let me know if we can help. Questions/comments please feel free to drop an email.
Speak to you soon."

You can get an electric fan from RamChargers for $80 something dollars... the installation is very easy but then again you are electronically challenged. Maybe you can have one of your buddies install it for you? My boyfriend installed mine.

Take Care!

2Cool, i just started installing JDM'S kit and water pump yesterday (one of my last bolt-on's finally) and will complete it this weekend. It has first rate materials and does look factory. I had a question during the electrical part and called JDM, and they took a tech off whatever he was doing to discuss with me. I also had it in 2 days from ordering. Just my take but i'm pleased with it so far as installation and the customer service.

Electric fan

Does LFPs fan kit use a ford fan unit? Does it come complete with instructions and all parts needed to install? What do you gain by changing water pumps? Just would like a few questions answered before buying. Thanks in advance, Skip

I would go with the Flex-a-Lite dual fan setup.. pulls 5500 cfm of air.......model 270....JR

I got LFP electric fdan setup. this thing is awesome. absolute plug and play very easy and includes everything including the toggle switch and a/c relay. nice and quiet when running but use the toggle switch in the lanes and that thing sucks in some air. Tops in my book. Yes it does use a ford shroud too.

LFP and Blue Oval carry the same fan kit, and are great quality. Both have similar prices.

I have the flex-a-lite kit. I shroud seems to have the lowest profile and in my opinion look the best. The dual fans have the highest CFM rating of all the kits. The instructions are minimal and generic, making the installation a little more challenging....

My vote is for the flex-a-lite. The install is a little harder than most but well worth it. It really moves some air and has a nice clean look when installed. My lessons learned from the install is mount the controller away from heat and remove the radatior (about 5 extra minutes) for a much easier install.
