Converters any good on street tires?

Are torque converters designed only for slicks. Will I spin if I'm on the F1's at the track with the converter?

Converters are great on street tires....IF YOU'RE TRYING FOR A SMOKE SHOW!!!

You'll definately need slicks to maximize the performance gain of a converter!!!

Do you notice a difference on the street with a converter? Is the truck faster on the street/strip or is this a mod that only shows gains at the track with slicks. I really don't go to the track, so I'm curious if this is a good "street mod" if that makes sense (?).

the only times your going to see gains with a converter 90% of the time is if you can get traction anyway, but they sure are fun for the street.

on the track you gain on average of about .2 in the quater.
