I recently bought my 02 L (brand new) from a dealer. This is the first (new) car I have ever owned, plus I'm new to the Lightning. I was wondering if we got anything from Ford and/or SVT (ie.. Gifts, certificates...etc.) If so when should I expect these. I've noticed (via this site) that the Harley Owners get a box with some cool stuff in it. Do we get anything like that?

I signed the papers on August 28 of this year, so I've had the truck for about a month and a half.

P.S. I already got a charter membership to Ford Racing, and 1 year free membership in SVTOA, but I was curious if there was anything I am missing. I'd hate to miss out on anything.

You'll get your certificate of authenticity with your production number on it about a month or so after the last 2002 L rolls off the line. I believe that I have read on here that production is already done for this year so it could be close.

 

I received a SVT cap, key chain and sticker.

 

With SVTOA you should get your SVT Enthusiast magazine, 6 issues, every 2 months. I got a coffee mug too

i didnt get no free keychain!!!!!!!! damnit

i got 1 year free membership to SVTOA and a 1 year subscription to the magizine, and a Hat(which i wear all the time)

but im still pissed about the keychain!

 

Coffee mug?!? Sheesh, all I got was a black hat (no wear hats, useless), keychain, and literature stuff. Would of thought a t-shirt or cup woulda been a nicer package.

Hey, me too!! I've replaced mine 3 times now. They are both cracked again but I'm not going to replace them until they stop working.
