Red face Now I am really going insane!!!!

My truck has been at the dealer since Monday. They replaced that metal tube leading from the EGR to the manifold which had disentegrated, and it didn't help with that noise I am having at tip in acceleration at about 2 - 2500 RPM. The tech has been speaking with the For engineers via the tech hotline. They told him to replace the EGR, but it didn't help with the noise. He found the heat shield near the tranny to be rattling and put some insulation, still didn't help!! What the fu$$ is this noise? It appears to be coming from the left side of the engine close by the fire wall? Again is there any component of the E-fan that could be causing this? What about that sensor that is placed under the car near the oil filter? Tomorow I will go for a ride with the tech. He has put some of those tolls were you can drive the car, and it will amplify the noise to detect were it is coming from.

Fast al, the teck checked the Cat. and doesn't think they are bad. I almost don't have any hair any more, I am pulling it all out!!! SH$T!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Exhaust components loose, something obstructing the fan, loose plug, something with the valves, engine knock, torque converter bolt loose inside housing, something internal..........I have no idea man, I feel for you. They'll find it eventually though.

JBL, what could be obstructing the fan? Coincidentaly I started to hear the noise right after the E-fan with Cobra R pump. COuld the water pump be causing the noise? Does any one know about that temp. sensor that goes under the engine compartment that comes with the E-fan kit?

I think that sensor replaces one of the freeze plugs
on the block.... Not sure, and I didn't pay a lot of
attention when Rich was putting the fan kit on,
since we were eating PIZZA ...
