This is the first cool part of the year that i've driven my truck w/ the chip and filter.. Boy what a difference it makes from the hot temps i've been use to..I'm on the HWY today and barely touch the gas and this thing sucks the road up with too much ease. I was smiling all day.. I came up on a ricer who saw me approaching and heard him floor it...SWWWOOSSH !! suck him in with my foot barely mashing the gas.. Cool air really makes these things pull hard. Wakes the torque up too!

BTW.. Is itjust me or does the torgue on these things bring on a constant pull on your abs? Any of you guys ever notice your stomach tightens up when you take off even lightly in your L?

Yeah, I can't stand driving my truck in the rain. I have to for now b/c my stang (my daily driver) is in the shop having work done..It sucks putting miles on my L but fun at the same time..

definately wakens up the torq much more,,,, if you have a big blower pulley of 5 or 6 pounds,, the cool air can negate the added heat produced by the faster spinning blower,,, and only take on the extra torq in armfuls.

Its a cool night in central AL too. I just got through smoking an integra that had a "frankenstein" engine in it he said. He was talking smack while i was in the auto parts store so i told him i wanted to see what it would do. it never stood a chance even from a roll.

 

Same here in FL, it dropped about 15 degrees overnight and the humidity dropped also. Truck ran like a graped ape last night!!!

 

LOL .... he said GRAPED !!!
