For those who want a great deal on Nittos

I just had the Nitto 555's put on yesterday at We Do Trucks here in Raleigh. They sold them to me for $190 a piece with a deal on the mounting and balancing. This of course was after a few days of haggling between several places. I know the Tirerack sells them for $206 shipped but even after taxes I still saved around $24/$30. The salesman I dealt with was Ryan. I asked him if he would give the same price to anyone here on the list and he said he would. So if anyone is interested the phone # is 919-832-7677. Talk to Ryan and tell him that Mike (thats me) told you about it. Btw, they will ship them.

Seems everyone likes the Nitto's 10x's better than the F1's. Im gonna need to get some new tires in a couple K miles, im leaning toward the Nitto's...

Just got back from getting new tires on. Went with the Nitto NT404 Extremes. It is raining here so can really try them out. But the wet traction is great!

Thumbs up

The Nitto's are worlds better than the F1's on the street. My F1's would get really nasty going into second gear whereas the Nitto's just plain hook. However with a treadwear of 100 you can expect to get 6-10K miles out of them depending on how heavy your foot is.

BTW, if it's raining, park it.

Red02SVTL, you must have the 555r's b/c my 555's have a 300 treadware rating. They still hook much better than the F1's.
