You might want to call up bassani and ask them if they hav any caps for that EGR spot.

On my bassani shorties they came with a piece that was a sleve but then I just put a freze plug in it and it was a great cap. Unfortunatly when I pulled the bassani shorties off and sold them the sleve wouldn't come off so I have to cut it off and it was garbage then.

I did the same thing sal did with mine. Works good and you will loose MPG for sure. But its so nice for that plug swap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !

Shame on you RT. I always thought so highly of you. Now I find out you drive on the street with an inoperative EGR valve. What's next? Long tube headers or a chip? Maybe even a breather cap. I mean I can understand removing emissions equipment on off road vehicles.

Easterisland---What you need is what is called a "british thread" I went through the same torture when I was looking for a threaded plug for my 95's 351 header egr opening. I found it at a hydrolic hose repair shop >the good shops have these. I always thought that there were only metric and standard as well. Remember....british thread!

I'll try a hydraulic hose place tomorrow. I had a friend measure the threads. He said they were 2.00 mm. A 3/4 inch flare gap comes close, so does a gas 15/16 cap, and the 12 an is the closest so far.
