Correct tranny fix for WOT shifts

When I nail it after getting a lot of new mods done (in sig) my transmission does a major clunk, scares me to even feed it juice I don't wanan hurt her. I did a search and pretty much the one thing that will solve my tranny from clunking with 14LB of boost from 2-3 and 3-4 would be facotry tech valve body? Any help is well helpful, thanks

Mainly tho when I'm on the highway now doing 50-60 and I slowly put it all the way down while its whining so gloriously loud when it shifts up to 4th it takes a bit longer then usual and when it hits into 4 you don't hear the clunk much but you feel it. Seems like its a bit too much pressure on the tranny for it. So prolly best thing to fix the shifting and for tranny life if FTVB?

First of all you didn't include your sig...
As far as the clunk, that does not sound normal to me. I have the FTVB and my shifts are much firmer now than stock but no clunk. The only time I have experienced anything like a clunk was one time I was at WOT and right before the shift I let off completely (had to do it) and the tranny kinda "clunked" into second gear. I try NOT to do that, but that time it was unavoidable (some blind a-hole pulled out in front of me).
Sorry I am not much help, good luck...

Ive been running 14psi for almost a year now. without the Factory Tech valve body my truck wouldnt shift before it hit the rev limiter but with the valve body no problems except now it spins the tires on the shifts. hope this helps

Well you asked for opinions, heres mine

Anybody thats planning on modding their truck, the first thing that should be done is to help and protect the tranny.
That being said, Factory_Tech's valve body is the best mod for the trans.
So if your going to chipnfilter and add a pulley, by all means invest in the FT vale body.
As far as a clunk when shifting, never heard that one. Go over to www.nloc.net and ask Gregg himself in his forums

valve body!!!

invest in the valve body. Well worth it. Nice snappy shifts, and you can have JDM reburn the chip for you for the valvebody. With the setup you have, you should by breaking the tires loose when you hit seconds at wot!!!! Mine does and I only have a 2lb pulley.
