Truck looks Lightning Red in this picture

But not in the rest. I think he took a picture of a Lightning enginer and called it his own.

Thumbs up

Nice custom work though. Good to see from a fellow Canadian. Hope he chimes in here; I wonder what part of Ontario he's from.

that isnt a lightning engine compartment, it has a heat cover on the underside of the hood.

Maybe he put a Lightning engine in it, you know others have done that before.

Looks sweet as hell though, like the color.

Isn't the color of the truck different than the shade of red on the fenders in the motor shot?

Thats BlueFlareside said ... and it looks like that to me.

Other then the sideskirts not aligning properly, I think it's decent. And will rank up a notch if it looses the lightning badging.

It might be the same color, with that 3 stage toreador red, the flash and lighting can make it look bright red or dark red. Also, under the hood wouldnt have the full 3stage paint, those trucks that color do look brighter red under the hood.

Survey Says...

Gay! I hate when people try to "fake" different model vehicles, like TypeR everything or V6 Cobras Definately needs to loose the L badge.

i think he did a pretty good job. bumper cover, exhaust, side skirts, grille, lights, clear taillights, monochromatic, engine, seats (look close in the pics, they are there), so i think its aight that he has the emblems since it does have alot of the L parts, and he did a clean, factory looking job, and not 1/2 @$$

Okay, the doors to flameville are being opened, here goes.

Out here in good ole So Cal, there is a shop that specializes in making extended cabs out of Lightnings. I know it is a sick thought, but hey, people do weird s**t.

I would have thoght the guy was full of it, but I work with him and he knows a Lightning from a hot rock at 50 paces, it is his uncle that owns the shop. Before the Gen II L's , he was making extended 4 door Bronco's. I've seen his work, much as I hate to admit it.

So there ya have it. go ahead, flame on.............

It's not an SVT and not a Lightning, thus in my opinion, shouldn't have the badges. It's the same as calling a car "rice" because of fake badges. It's cool that he did all that work, but it's still not an L. He could've saved time, money and a warranty and got a blown Harley. I'm not trying to flame him, just my opinion. Peace.
