Did the 2/4 drop-rear end vibration until 25MPH

I installed the 2/4 drop this weekend - 2" eibach springs & bilsteins up front and hanger/shackles with bisteins in the rear.

I am now experiencing some vibration in the rear end until approximately 25 mph.

Anyone else have this problem with a 2/4 drop? What is the fix?

Do not have any new pics yet, but will post soon.

Any help is appreciated.

2/4 Drop

I just had a 2/4 drop installed on my Lightning and have not had any problems. Did the kit you used come with pinion shims?, and did you install them?. If not you need to get some 6* pinion shims and install them.

Hop this helps.

Larry.

It did not come with shims. Do I need shims since I have the 2 piece drive shaft?

Yes you need the shims, it doesn`t matter if you have a two piece drive shaft, your pinion angle has changed alot with the drop and it needs to be corrected. Thats why you have a vibration.

Measure the pinion angle. Then add the appropriate shims.
